For years the art community in Boston has been starving for an online resource to host related information and events. About a week and a half ago their prayers were answered. ARTSBOSTON.org is so fresh it’s still beta! This is a really big deal for the creative capital demographic in Boston! ArtsBoston serves more than 170 organizations in theater, music, dance, visual arts, comedy, and film throughout Greater Boston by serving as a collective voice for the arts. Check it out.
I heard of this through the Industry Director of Creative Economy for the Massachusetts Office of Business Development. He walked into my office one morning at Boston World Partnerships and I sparked a conversation about what resources he uses for creative capital within Boston. Voila!
