Create Boston

In case you have a business plan burning a hole in your brain around graduation, you should be aware of this nonprofit.  I stole the text from their website, CREATEBOSTON.

Did you know that Boston’s creative industries collectively generate 30,000 jobs? That’s more jobs than the number provided by all of Boston’s retail trade.

Create Boston is focused on the simple fact that creativity is fuel for Boston’s economic engine. This is an economic development initiative of the Boston Redevelopment Authority, designed to help businesses rooted in creativity achieve their potential for success. If you are such a business, or you have an idea for one, Create Boston is here to help you realize your vision.

First and foremost, Create Boston offers Boston businesses a single point of contact Carole Walton to connect with resources and gain access to City Hall.

Any creative business activity that is based in the City of Boston can access Create Boston’s resources. It doesn’t matter where you are in the process. If you are trying to develop a business plan, we can help you. If you already have offices and employees and customers, but your next stage of development is presenting challenges, we can help you, too.
